Cracking up this morning because Taika has announced they are filming Season 2 in NZ because there’s real ocean and good locations that Taika already scouted.

Meaning Dad’s on Tour was part holiday, part scouting mission. Sneaky devil.

And for Season 1 they justified filming in LA because they could build an entire ship inside in front of the big screen and avoid the perils of working around the weather and the ocean tides and golden hour etc.

Meaning they may have to either completely rebuild the revenge and possibly Jackie’s bar, in NZ or ship it to NZ. The EXPENSE my dudes.

The viewership they had to get and leverage that must have given them for Taika and David to be able to go: “Yeah we’re gonna need that Master and Commander money.”

Amazing.
