Kiss It Better (Alexia Putellas X Reader)

If there’s any mistakes please let me know. :)

This is Part 2 of Where Did We Go?

“Hey this is Aubrey.I’m not here right now, so leave a message! Make it short, make it sweet, or I’ll have to press delete.” I ended the call ready to call back. “Hey this is Aubrey.I’m not here right now, so leave a message! Make it short, make it sweet, or I’ll have to press delete.” I ended the call for the tenth time banging my head on the wall missing my best friend. After losing my childhood friend to breast cancer I needed time to be alone. Thankfully my manager and the club understood and gave me time to grieve.

It’s been two weeks since and I’m slowly getting better as the days pass on. Getting back into routine with working out and focusing on my diet. However, I still have my moments. It’s bad to say I’ve been ignoring phone calls from friends and family. I know if I answer those calls I would break down and start from square one. Guillermo, my agent, visits me almost daily to get me out of my house and he’s been a real help.

Closing my bedroom door I head down stairs to make myself dinner, Honey garlic glazed salmon. As I am in the kitchen setting up to cook my doorbell rings. Thinking perhaps it’s Guillermo left something behind like last time I opened the door expecting him to say something cheesy to annoy me.

“Yes Guiller—-mo” I was caught off guard. There she, Alexia, was right in front of me with flowers and a card. She looked good but I don’t know what to feel. “Hey” the Barcelona captain says as I stare off. “Can I come in?” She chuckles. “Uhhhh yeah sure. Sorry I’m just—-yeah come in.” I close the door behind her. What did she want with me? I mean I haven’t seen her since—well since the break up last year. A part of me feels happy but the other feels guilty of my actions.

“These are for you” she hands me the flowers and card. “Thank you” I say as I go to set them down at an end table near my front door. Once the flowers were set I turned back to Alexia. She had a soft smile observing the pictures hung on my walls. “I still have that picture on my wall too.” Confused for a second I looked up to see the picture. I was lying on Alexia facing her with her arms wrapped around me both smiling at each other with heart eyes. “That was a great day” I said with my hands now in my sweatpants.

To be quite honest I forgot the picture was even there. After the break up I did my best to ignore anything that included Alexia or even reminded me of her. We both stood in silence before I realized how awkward it was. “I’ve heard about Aubrey…” she said with a look of sympathy. I looked down at the floor scratching my head not wanting to cry.

Hearing her footsteps on the wooden floors coming closer to me I held my breath looking up at her. She reached in for a hug squeezing me tight and I breathed heavily feeling myself get emotional. “Sorry for your loss” she rubbed my back. “Yeah…” The hug was nice but I needed to get my mind off of Aubrey. “Would you like to stay for dinner?” I said. Alexia nodded and followed me to the kitchen.

A couple glasses of wine later and we were laughing and chatting about the good memories. “Do you remember the first time we had sex?” Alexia asked giggling. I giggled with her “Oh my god yes!” Slapping my hand on her thigh. “You were supposed to have locked the door” I Embarrassingly remembered as we continued to talk about that night as Alexia found it funny “I looked up and there was Aubrey trying to hold in laughter” Alexia bursted out with laughter.

Seeing her laugh so much at an embarrassing memory I smiled enjoying the moment. “You were…” she paused, staring into my eyes. “What happened—“ “to us?” I interrupted finishing her question. “Well I fucked it up. It was a huge mistake that I’ll regret for the rest of my life.” Staring back into her eyes. Alexia looked away so I grabbed her hand. “I’ll never find someone like you.” She looked back at me with her lips partially open ready to say something but she stopped.

A minute had gone by and she stood up from the chair. “I’m gonna leave. I have a match tomorrow evening against atlético.” She said, grabbing her coat from behind the chair then walked to the door as I followed where she turned to face me “I-It was nice seeing you.” She smiled. “Y/n, take care of yourself.” Alexia gave me a hug kissing my cheek. Not sure if it was the wine or seeing her for the first time in a while I was definitely feeling something and knew I wanted to make it known.

Squeezing her tight with my head buried in her shoulder I picked my head up looking at her. It was like I had hearts in my eyes. Feeling something so nice after a break up and then losing my best friend I gave Alexia a passionate kiss. Her eyes widened as she didn’t know what was going on. Alexia gave me a slight push, clearly uncomfortable from the unexpected kiss.

A bit embarrassed I scratched my head “sorry” I said as Alexia just stood there. I wasn’t sure what I should do or say so I stayed quiet looking down at the floor. Alexia stepped up to me “No, I’m sorry.” She kissed me. So many butterflies filled my stomach. Our hearts beat quickly as we moved our way up stairs to my bedroom tripping everywhere.

“Ahhhh” I quietly said as Alexia slammed my back against the hallway wall. “Are you okay?” She breathlessly asked. “Yeah I’m fine.” I said kissing her. Alexia picked me up and wrapped my legs around her as she approached my bedroom kicking the door open. She set me on the bed getting on top of me ripping my shirt off then kissing me as we moaned loudly.

I woke up and lifted my head up as I heard the birds chirping outside my window. Seeing the sun slowly creeping into my bedroom I yawned and rested my head back onto Alexia’s chest. Feeling her all over again and hearing her lunges fill up with air I breathe a sigh of relief. I trailed my finger on her chest and noticed she had gotten a new tattoo on her arm. “Eleven” I said out loud. “Hhmmm?” Alexia had woken up rubbing her hand on my back.

“Hey, good morning.” I kissed her on the lips. She rubbed her eyes, removing the sleep from them. “Good morning” her raspy morning voice said. “Slept good?” I asked. Alexia ran her fingers through my hair “yes, I did.” She smirked, giving me a wink. Last night was amazing with her. She made me feel loved and I think we could start seeing each other again. Feeling like I could go for some more fun I began to kiss her chest. Alexia smiled and then hummed “I would love to stay but I have to go.” Her fingers twirled in my hair.

I smiled and nodded getting out of bed with her. Putting on my robe as she put her clothes back on I left the bedroom to make myself some coffee. Minutes later Alexia came down stairs. Taking a sip of my coffee I feel her come behind me wrapping her arms around my waist giving me a peck on the back of my neck. “I had a great time last night.” She kissed my neck again then rested her head on me for a few seconds. “Okay, well I’ll see you soon?” She asked before walking out the door. “Yes, I’ll see you soon.” I smiled as she left my house.
