#generation wealth

LIVE

I watched documentary called ‘Generation Wealth’ by Lauren Greenfield today. Basically it’s about super rich 1% and the mentality about money and other assets like beauty, sexiness, youth, power etc.

It made me wonder how rarely things like family, stabile happy homelife, steady and trustworthy partnership and love are shown in big medias these days. They certainly don’t seem to be interesting or hold much worth.

I feel that I am liberal and open person, but after watching that document I feel the ‘old fashioned values’ are something that could use some time in spotlight. Maybe it’s the classic case of ‘people don’t want things that are good for them’. Like, being young, beautiful, sexy, wanted and rich is not enough in the end after all.

All of this makes me feel conflicted, because I can’t step into somebody else’s shoes and writing this down makes me feel bit snobbish and prude in a way. Watch the documentary if you can - it’s very well done and interesting (made with amazon I think?) - and see what thoughts it gives to you. I stay at home and try to see if I can make any sense of my own thoughts. Happy Saturday peeps!
