roman and gerri are much more interesting when you consider that they genuinely like each other. i’ve read really cynical takes on here that are committed to rg being one-sided and imo it cheapens the complexity of their dynamic. whether or not you think rg works as a relationship, they definitely have love for each other - both of them. and neither are being manipulated

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has aged like a fine wine. He just turned fifty last month and he looks terrific, not because he still looks like he did when he was twenty or twenty-five but specifically because he’s older now. He looks good because he’s older. A while ago he posted some pics on his Twitter where he had a beautiful salt-and-pepper beard; did he look like a young man? No, obviously not, but he looked lovely. I thought he looked very stately. It suited him, I thought.

He looked great when he was younger, of course, but not better or worse, just different, and I really wish that we could see everyone like that, not just celebrities. Youth isn’t the be all and end all of what makes people valuable or beautiful and perhaps if we as a society could understand that, kids would stop growing up imagining that they have to achieve everything in their lives between the ages of eighteen and twenty-four.
