Dee Allen KOs Matilde Contreras in 4th - June 4, 2022

Dee Allen (2-0) is one to watch out of the UK.

Big week in women’s boxing. Couple of world title fights and big time amateur prospects making debuts. We’ll start with the amies.

First up, the UK’s Lauren Price. Price won gold at middleweight in the 2020 Olympic Games. She’s reportedly dropping to welterweight (she was way undersized through the tourney). She is as good a prospect as women’s boxing has right now. Only a matter of time before she grabs gold. Fighting on Saturday (June 11). No opponent yet but it’ll be on DAZN.

Here in the U.S., welterweight Oshae Jones will also be making her debut. Won bronze at the 2020 Olympic Games and is set to take the pros by storm. Here team has a lot of faith in her as she was set to face a former world champ in her debut but is now facing a more favorable 4-2 opponent on ShoBox’s undercard on Friday (June 10).

New York boxing legend Christina Cruz is back. 2-0 in the pros, Cruz is gunning to be a world champ before she starts to decline. Most known for her record 10 NY Golden Gloves championships, Cruz is scheduled to fight in June 11 for top rank on espn+. No opponent named yet for the flyweight.
