i had a whole dungeon planned out for last session w traps and combat and everything that i didnt get to use but i didget to oneshot my ranger and drop kick him into the nine hells so overall i think it was a success
one of my PCs got possessed by a murdered prince and their dynamic is just the two bagels meme

sometimes your meet cute gets interrupted by your sister insulting the young lordling adventurer who came to clear out the local pest problem
(this is from my campaign where the nobility’s coming of age ritual involves sending their kids out to adventure for one to five years. theoretically to get to know the people they will one day rule but mostly for the glory of killing monsters)

half my players couldn’t make it for a month so one of them ran a oneshot! my cleric and the ranger fell down a trapdoor into pitch blackness and so she cast Light on his horn

One of my PCs was like “hey what if [plot element you introduced last game] was actually this” and I’m like hm. HM! really weird that you’re suggesting plot points for a thing not in your backstory but that’s actually really good so okay
i was organizing my blog and found this post and it took literally nine months for this plot point to come to fruition
love when my pcs create stuff relevant to the previous sessions. v sexy of them
literally every time one of my pcs is like I Want to Read This Whole History Textbook I’m like a. are you sure. you want to read the whole book??
this is elincë! she’s a princess of the dark elven kingdom in my current campaign, but she was raised as a ward in a different royal household for most of her life.
