Zoomed through all of #GilmoreGirls season 7 in like three days. First rewatch since the show aired. Many episodes were basically brand new since I didn’t remember them. It wasn’t as painful as I thought I’d be, thanks to time and distance from those initial reactions back in the day. Though I made a lot of unhappy faces and noises throughout the whole first half of the season. It was crazy to see Lorelai flip flopping so much over her feelings for Chris. Totally all in one minute, then with her doubting face the next. And everything else just felt slightly off from the other seasons. I was surprised by how much more I liked Logan throughout this rewatch than in the original years though. Maybe since now there wasn’t a big rivalry between the couples influencing feelings, lol. The end of the season definitely got better, though it felt a bit rushed to wrap things up between Luke and Lorelai and I totally hate the miscommunication/mixed signals trope. Ultimately though, the finale gave me all of the feels and I cried. God, how I loved this show. I can’t wait for the #gilmoregirlsrevival . I hope so much that it is good!
