Fate brought @aterglittle and I together on this one – old married Spirk makes Italian timpano :) This was a detailed and really lovely fic that means a lot to me, using cooking to explore themes of immigration, tradition vs. assimilation, identity, memory, healing from generational trauma, reincarnation & love.
Absolutely furious bc if In The Flesh came out today it would be a smash hit and tumblr’s precious little meow meow but we live in a dark and cruel world where it aired in 2013 and got cancelled on a cliffhanger
