#god i wish this were a musical

Rookies is getting a stage play with a limited run through November only! It looks like it’s going to cover up to the game with Yoga Daiichi. The official site has some pictures up now, and the official twitter has been posting bigger pictures of the cast. It looks like a pretty small production, so I don’t know if video will ever be available.

The main thing I’ve noticed so far is that Yufune and Hiratsuka, who were both changed a lot for the dorama, are back to the their manga designs–or Yufune is, at least; I guess Hiratsuka’s actor didn’t want to shave his beard for a role that’s only gonna last a month. Fair enough.
