Every so often I get asked “Why Godzilla?” or “Why monsters?” in general…and tbh I dunno…
…I guess there’s just something about giant, unstoppable monsters born out of mankind’s attempts to manipulate the natural order of the world and universe coming back to punish their hubris while completely destroying the foundations and institutions of the empires they’ve built for themselves that I just find inherently satisfying…♂️
