my second piece and final piece for the 6th anniversary art book i did with my bana friends !! i honestly struggled a lot with this one.. at the very last minute i changed the whole thing and while it was really stressful, i’m really glad that i did because i’m definitely way more attached to it now than i was before haha.
as for a little drawing explanation: if u hadn’t guessed it already, the main character of my piece is my favorite person who i love the absolute most in the whole entire universe, gongchan !! i also got to see this performed live during their 4 nights in the us concert and i really ;;0;; ahh,, my heart just started to pound as i typed that oughglk but ANYWAYS
when i was drawing this, i had in mind gongchan’s visual novel game “i need love” ! the main mc is blonde and so i went with that ( though a lot of my friends keep asking me if this is me in the piece sflksjf hhelp) and i sort of ? created this little story thing in my mind while i was drawing it.
the whole game itself is the story of you falling in love with gongchan’s character sehyun, and so i wanted to show that thru the “gameboy” the mc is holding in their hand ! even though the game is played on android, i thought it would be cute to change it up a little and also have it relate to gongchan a little bit more because he loves games hehe but with that said, i made it relate to “crushing on you again” by making the selection hover on the game go to “yes” to the question of “fall in love again?” making this some kind of ??? paradox OR SOMETHING i’m not sure i think i’m thinking too deeply about my piece now but hlskdfm
ANYWHO to make it simpler (lmao) , the setting of this comes from the very start of the song with the lyrics “there’s a pretty girl in front of me” ~
this piece is definitely my favorite out of the 2 that i did and i really hope that it comes thru as so !! i’m not that good at full pieces but i put in all of my love into this and aaaaa i lov b1a4 so much and i’m rlly thankful 4 them (I’M GETTING SIDETRACKED BUT ANYWHO i hope whoever sees this likes my piece and checks out the full artbook as well!! thank u if u read this !!)
