After my aurora borealis inspired hair a few months ago, I got stuck with some blues that just refused to budge. I wasn’t going to let that stop my Christmas hair tradition, but I did have to improvise a little bit to work with the stubborn blue. Vampire red gradient into enchanted forest (so that the blue tones would make for better bleeding and blending) into green envy with a touch of electric lizard for UV pop on the ends!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to everyone.
Manic Panic: Vampire Red Hot Hot Pink Enchanted Forest Green Envy Electric Lizard
One of my favorite rainbows to date, but I’ve been so busy the last month that I never got a chance to take decent outdoor photos of it. Even here, I was in a hotel room getting ready to head off to Louder Than Life (was anyone else there?!).
Manic Panic: Electric Banana Electric Lizard Green Envy Enchanted Forest Atomic Turquoise Rockabilly Blue Deep Purple Dream Hot Hot Pink
It’s been an eventful couple of months as I moved a few states away, but finally settled in and had a chance to apply new colors.
This was a concoction of all my green and blue leftovers from the past year or two of hair dying. I used a method Guy Tang displayed in his latest Aurora Borealis inspired hair YouTube video, using dark colors for a shadow root and dark colors on the ends of the hair to make the middle colors really pop.
Root and end shades are: Manic Panic Blue Moon Manic Panic Enchanted Forest Manic Panic Rockabilly Blue Manic Panic Shocking Blue Manic Panic Voodoo Forest
Middle/vibrant shades are: Manic Panic Atomic Turquoise Manic Panic Electric Lizard Manic Panic Siren’s Song Manic Panic Green Envy Manic Panic Venus Envy Manic Panic Voodoo Blue
Electric Lizard and Siren’s Song glow in UV, causing them to pop even more in sunlight.
