Chicago—we are so heartbroken to not have been able to play tonight. We know all of you guys dedicated this evening to be with us, so we want to be as honest as possible about why and how things happened the way they did. Christian is suffering from the flu and laryngitis, and after visiting another doctor today, we were assured that the medication would allow him to sing tonight, but unfortunately it did not work—and we tried everything up until the very moment we walked on stage to talk to you all, until we had absolutely no choice but to reschedule.
Please hold on to your tickets—within the next 24 hours we will have a rescheduled date that we hope you will all be able to make it to. We will bring the energy and love that you all deserve.
We’re going to do something really special for you all when we come back.
