It’s been awhile since I’ve last worked on a hairstyle, and I decided to try something different for this — namely, making another kind of normal map with the action I use for clothing (for previous hairstyles, I basically left the normal map blank). And it’s a nice result IMO! A bit more definition.
This was previously a hat hair, with sunglasses as an accessory, but I removed those and you can now find this among the regular hairstyles.
A.K.A. queen Anora’s signature hairstyle. This conversion is far from perfect: the original mesh was plagued by transparency issues due to Dragon Age: Origins meshes not having backfaces which translates VERY poorly into sims 3. But I’ve managed to fix it for the most part, and the hair is quite lovely, so I decided to share it.
Available for teen-elder female sims, disabled for random, no custom thumbnail. Recolourable through the base and highlights channels (no roots and tips due to crazy UV maps of DA:O hairs).
