Who’s this prep lmao

And I’m back!  I’ve got a backlog of photos from before I stopped going out, plus a few from when I’ve gotten dressed up at home.  It’s just taking me ages to edit them because I haaaaaaaaate the new version of photoshop on my new computer, plus something is wrong with said new computer and it crashes whenever I have too many things open.  Lest you think that that means I’m overloading the poor thing, please note that it is a gaming computer and it’s meant to have, yanno, video games running.  Also the keyboard is possessed.

Anyway, back in the days when different days of the week meant you did very different activities, I decided I ought to wear my fancy dresses more on the weekend, even if I didn’t have anything fancy planned.

time for… Sleeves

Well that took me even longer than I thought it would, but I finally have Photoshop set up on my new laptop!  I’m having some issues adjusting, since it’s a much newer version, and some of the controls are extremely un-intuitive.  I also find that this laptop can only have, like, three things going on before it crashes horribly.  Not sure if something is wrong with the computer, or if it’s just a Windows thing.

I finally have new winter boots!  These were a present, so I got them a while ago, but I had to return them for a half size up.

I organized my mending pile (you may have seen me mention it in my Instagram stories if you follow me there) and it’s really motivated me to actually work through it and fix things.  I don’t know if that’ll hold as I start working on the more complicated mends/alterations, but this sweater was an easy one–just a little hole on a seam.

I finally got new glasses!  I think I’d had the silver ones for something like two years, even though they were old and bent out of shape, because I was being lazy about finding a new eye doctor.  But now that I’ve moved, I’m right up the road from a great office, so I got these.  I may even get a second pair at some point, because there were these cute sort of cat-eye ones, and this is the first time I’ve EVER found a pair of cat-eye-esque glasses that looks good on me.  (I can get a second pair because horrible autoimmune eye disorders run in my family, so Mum shelled out for the good eye insurance.)

So nearthe end of 2019 I created a little sort of gachapon style game when tabling conventions was still a thing!

Basically I had this box

Each envelope was tucked away and shuffled around and had a different little boat in it, hand painted in watercolor and inked. Each had a name and a description on the back.

I’m currently all sold out but wanted to make little like travel postcards - ergo the first two images.
