The kid yelped, clearly surprised to see River there.
Kid: I saw… something fly off with him that way!
He pointed towards the mountains. River quickly grabbed his phone, messaging Chris that he needed his help to find Flynn. Though, he could feel in the air, the magic, so powerful. So, rushing out of the building, River summoned the phoenix familiar, freeing her into large shape, he flew with the phoenix towards the mountains, following the trail.
Flynn: It’s okay now Emil.. thank you.. are you okay? Please tell me that didn’t hurt you and make you worse.
His body was still shaky, but for now, the magic seemed calm. He was glad Emil was there, that way, he hadn’t ended up hurting everyone at school. In the back of his head, he couldn’t help but imagine them not wanting him back if this was to become a thing.
Flynn: Grampa?
Behind Emil he noticed Chris standing, wondering just why he was there. Had he felt it too, was it that bad.. had he hurt Emil that much? It felt like his mind had been half fried, he couldn’t quite put his thoughts together properly.
