During the Avatar the Last Airbender” Legend and Legacy Panel, two art books were given away as prizes by accident. They were both signed, and one of them had a folded poster (also signed) on the inside of the book. These art books were my books. The Avatar the Last Airbender book has signatures from so many of the talents from the show, especially a signature by Ryu next to my favorite Smellerbee. The funny thing is, I know how they were given as prizes by mistake, and I have an idea of which cosplayers may have them, but I have no idea how to contact them. I am sure it is extremely exciting to be gifted art books with dozens of drawings, sentiments, and signatures, I hate to ask this… but if you have these books, would you contact me? I would like to send you brand new books in exchange for the return of my books. They are not signed for “Avatar_Mom”, they are signed for “Star”. Tuesday, June 7th: Hi everyone happy pride month. I’m Gemma, a bi, mentally ill and disabled woman who is in desperate need of help, asmy accountsare overdrawn and I’mreally struggling to get groceries.
As many of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling financially these past few months due to my welfare benefit (Universal Credit) being under a review, which is due to my worsening mental/physical health and the UK’s controversial changes to how benefits are assessed and assigned. And at the moment, I’m currently struggling to get by, as my application for Disability (PIP) was declined despite recently being diagnosed with PCOS & MDD, and due to awaiting DWP assessments, my debt from overdue bills is piling up which is making it difficult for me to get by.
To be quite honest, these past few weeks have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I’ve been relying on the kindness of others to get by, but I absolutely cannot afford these fees by myself and I don’t receive my welfare until the end of the month. I’m currently overdrawn by £103, and my PayPal £89.It’s also my 31st on June 19th, so any help would be incredibly appreciated,I also have abirthday wishlist!!
If anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would literally save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much as donations. And I must stress, please do not donate if it will put yourself into a difficult situation, I know we’re all struggling right now.
so anyone with FSA that’s about to expire should really check out FSAstore before it expires. you can literally buy almost any OTC medical supplies you need on there and it’s perfect to use up your FSA before you lose it

another addendum: you can also buy prescription glasses, first aid kits, skincare products and physical therapy items!!! ALSO, if you have an HSA rather than an FSA, you can use that as well.
I’m lucky enough that my FSA is rolling over into next year and I’m not losing my leftover balance, but many people’s expires at the end of this year! go check it out or tell your family members who have these plans.

there is only like one week left until FSA/HSA expires so I’m gonna reblog this a few times for exposure because it really is a life saver and a way to get your money back from FSA in medical supply form !!!!
I used to work in FSA/HSA admin, and I strongly suggest reaching out to your hr or your tpa to figure out what the regulations are for this year because there has been a LOT of COVID related changes around FSA, and which changes each company adopted is different.
Some companies allow for dollars to carry over into the FSA for the next year. This is typically capped out at around $500, but the government is allowing for companies to choose to offer unlimited carryover for plans ending in 2020 and 2021, so a lot more people are not going to be losing their money, just as a this year thing. Other companies allow for grace period, where you have a couple of extra months to spend down the funds from the previous year. Typically this ends on 3/15, but again due to COVID employers can choose to extend this to 12/31/2022 for plan years that end on 12/31/2021.
For HSA I don’t suggest a panic spend down, those funds just stay with you in a bank account that you own. They’re essentially IRAs but health related. That being said, the FSA store is an awesome resource that is available to use your pretax dollars on.
