Have you ever heard of the BBC Radio drama, Cabin Pressure? Well, I think our final plane is MJN’s GERTI.
Our pilots were very nice, and the plane was quite cramped. And may have had a hole in the fiberglass of the cockpit so that I could see some of its internal riveting. The important thing is that it got us safely to Victoria.

Time to finally finish unpacking my suitcase from Saipan so that I can pack to leave for Texas on Thursday. …I may have procrastinated on unpacking just a bit.

I thought I’d be resting my metaphorical feet for awhile after my trip to Saipan, but it’s not to be! My friend and I are heading off to Texas next month. Neither of us has ever been to Texas - we didn’t even fly over it on our way to Saipan. It’s very exciting!

Well, I had intended to get a few pictures in Dulles airport, but customs was a nightmare! An hour and a half layover and we still barely managed to make it to our gate with ten minutes to spare! At least I got a few hours of sleep on the flight from Japan. I am one tired stingray. It’s good to be home.
