I refuse to believe Mahito is anything older than 5 like cmon hes gotta be like 2 or 3 or something literally
Also like to believe he was told lotsa stories and stuff by the other curses just like listened to them as they told him all about how things were in all the centuries before he came into existence.
I like to think he was spawned with like some knowledge tho like i think itd be epic if he existed for like 5 seconds and started going off about the world wars and humans and stuff.
He definitely holds long conversations with Hanami about like climate change and pollution and the inevitable end of the human race.

Did You Know: Schemer, the pet rat, and the Dark Guardian wandering the Sanctuary don’t have to be killed during the Purification? Admittedly, it’s still a small comfort in the face of having to kill all of your fellow guild members.
