In honor of Black History Month, I’m so excited to release the footage of the #MrsBikoWorldTour performing Janelle Monáe hit anthem HELL YOU TALMBOUT. Along with the Mothers of the Movement and the WONDALAND family I spoke the names of Mya Hall and Deonna Mason, two black trans women murdered by the state because Black Trans Lives Matter . When we covered this song at AFROPUNK in front of 20,000 back in 2015 I knew this day would come but nothing could have prepared me for the 500,000 people who protested at the Women’s March.
