This is a parody comic I made for myself to hand out at SDCC2018 and isn’t official so don’t sweat the small stuff!
Many thanks to ghostdigits for her help. She is my spell checker extraordinaire and listened to me bounce ideas around in the eleventh hour while I worried if I ever knew anything about comedy in the first place. Hahaha…haha….aaa.… go, fight, win/finish a comic!

So happy these things are out in the open! (I believe you can watch the episode on the app if you were unable to be at the SDCC panel.) Rebecca and the crewniverse have been doing our best and the future is full of good Steven Universe things!
Thank you to all who were at the panel Saturday, those who streamed it online and all the magical cosplayers/fans. It’s such a treat to have your enthusiasm :)

I said previous post that the ‘Single Pale Rose’ board was “an adventure for me.” This is a euphemism for saying that it was important to me and I stressed about it. When that happens, I usually step away from the computer and do a lot more thinking on paper. Paper, especially scrap paper and post-its, is less ‘precious’ than the computer file that I turn in and makes me feel less self conscious about trying stuff out.
I have a lot of paper scraps from this episode.

I believe this is the last chunk of proper boarding I did on Steven (as opposed to edits/corrections.) The song had some changes rather late in the game which made it hard for Drew Green to have a proper go at it with the time allotted so I had the opportunity to give it a go.
I boarding the diamonds singing to Steven in the opening of the movie but, if I remember correctly, this is the only song (not montage) in the the series proper I did. It’s cool to feel like I was able to board a little bit of everything in series.
I love Blue but she’s tricky to draw…

Forgive the choppiness here. This video was just me flipping through the panels on the computer. I probably took it to send to @ghostdigits to ask a question while she was in a meeting… or maybe I just didn’t want to get up from my desk? Unclear. Both are something I would do.
