Happy 266th birthday to one of my favorite historical figures :)
Stayed up late staring at 18th century portraits, trying to figure out what they might have looked like
I realised I had a piece @hamiltonshorn posted a few years ago at the back of my mind while drawing this, but I couldn’t find it anymore – though at least Laurens’ floofy hair was inspired by their art. And I definitely picked up the freckles from @ciceroprofacto
