During the ending of HLVRAI, I’ve been imagining that when Benrey was in Xen, it probably fucked with his sensory stuff a bit, and not just his size.

Maybe he gets a little ringing in his ears, and it makes him kinda cover and uncover his ears because his hearing is sensitive?

Or maybe his sclerae get fucked up too? Like. It goes red because his eyes feel strained after the flashing lights when he got to Xen?

Maybe during the final fight he’s having a sensory meltdown?

Maybe he has a hard time adjusting to different types of darkness or light?

I don’t see people talk about it much, but I really want a thing during the Post-game or Post-canon fanfics where Benrey’s eyes hurt whenever there’s flashing lights or colours, or has a hard time adjusting to the lighting in the night or during the day after the final fight in Xen.

In conclusion: As a person who is autistic and has sensory issues, and headcanons Benrey with some ofthe things that I have, I think Benrey is quite literally going through sensory hell and he hates it.
