I binged read homestuck a few months ago and I’ve been pumped up to draw fanart of it ever since. Not too happy with this but meh, its good enough i suppose XD

this is a new interpretation of the john on drawing I drew in 2012 (left). I was thinking about doing a fateful recreation, but I tend to meditate while drawing, so it’s different. I thought skaia would look cool at dusk too.
It’s my birthday too and I’d really appreciate the gift of: follow and reblog, but I don’t control your life fam
Homestuck may be over, but these two still have one heck of a Birthday to celebrate!

I remember that John looks rather down and alone on his 20th(?) birthday and Jade decided to visit him. I think Jade can relate to John that way. I wish they’d have a piano-and-bass jamming session.
