                                                    award season.

every creator looks forward to one thing more than any other : awards and accolades of their hard work. web creators are no different, and while they may not be eligible for grammy’s or oscar’s, there are a number of top awards designed for content creators of the 21st century. 

this spring, hooplaand it’s staff and productions have won a number of achievements, most notably ending with the most famous of them all: the webby award. hosted may 16th in new york, dixie lancaster and a few of the more public faces headed across the country to attend - and win - several awards for the company. 

now, with memorial day weekend coming up, hooplais hosting their ownawards ceremony - a company picnic hosted every year, a superlative of sorts sent around to all members of the team no matter their department to vote for things like ‘best dressed’ ‘most kissable’ and ‘silliest concept’ for the past year. 

emails went out today to collect their votes - whether employees campaign for their favorite category ( nominate me for ‘best side instagram!’ ) or just allow the fates of their notoriety be held on the shoulders of their peers, everyone’s buzzingabout the party this upcoming monday. 

for the group ;

• interactions are officially open ! feel free to post open starters as paras / face to face interactions, or even as the ‘old fashion’ gif chats as messages back and forth through the office ! the opportunities are endless for you. 
• while we won’t have an official ‘ballot’ of superlatives, feel free to get creative ! new categories are offered every year, and it’s a time for the staff to get together and let loose, let their hair down, have fun together! 
• the actual party will take place on monday, may 30th, but will not be an event this time around, as there are still so few of us. however, you’re free to use it in your threads and plotting with other members of the staff ! 
• don’t forget to followeveryone! 
• remember,character biographies should be posted / linked easily within your first few days so people can know more about your character!
