I have not been in the city since the mid 1980s, but I was glad to learn that the Casa de los Azuelos, an 18th century patrician mansion, is still in good condition and still occupied by a Sanborns restaurant. When I used to go to México with some frequency, Sanborns was my favorite breakfast spot, and the interior of this one was quite impressive.
