Park Shin Hye shares story about documentary, the donation that she made and her hobbies with #LeeHongKi.
Kim Shin Young remembers Park Shin Hye, who once sent a message on the radio in the past.
Park Shin Hye said, “It was the time I was shooting ‘Flower Boy Next Door’ in December 2012 when I sent the message. It was amazing that you actually remembered it. “I’m listening to your radio while I’m in the car.” This is what I have sent back then. I remember receiving coffee and waffle coupons.” Park Shin Hye also said that she has an interest to be a DJ.
The actress also showed her affection for "Humanimal”. "It’s a documentary about the coexistence of humans and animals. Ryu Seung Ryong, Yoo Hae Jin and Kim Woo Bin also participated. It was not an easy journey, but I enjoyed it. I went to Botswana and Kenya.” She also asked to give lots of love for this documentary.
Park Shin Hye commented on why she is working hard to promote this documentary. The actress said, “ To be honest I have the most part/share. We have 5 episodes, It will be on air for a month, and I’ve filmed the most. The seniors are shooting a movie now, and I just finished it a while ago. I’m happy doing it because I don’t have many opportunities to meet with viewers and listeners in the offseason.” she said.
Park Shin Hye also talked about being called “King of preparation,” she adds, “I have been obsessed with lions for some time. I was searching for animals on SNS and fell in love with lions and cheetahs. Then, "Humanimal” production called. I’m being asked, "What kind of animal do you want to do?” I wanted to choose a lion at first, but then I chose an elephant. That’s why I did some research and studied it,“ she said. Park Shin Hye added, "I’ve been crying a lot during this filming.”
In particular, Park Shin Hye donated all of her “Humanimal” appearance fees to the Elephant Society Without Borders. The actress explains, “I don’t know exactly how much I paid for my appearance, but I gave it to the elephant group I went to. I honestly told the documentary team that, “ I wasn’t concern receiving the appearance fee, I planned to donate it once I receive it.”
Park Shin Hye also talked about her personal life. When asked by Kim Shin Young why people calling Park Shin Hye as “Mrs. Park” on the set, she said, “I filmed a lot of dramas on the SBS. So I kept seeing the director and staff I met/worked with when I debuted. That’s why they call me "Mrs. Park” because I have built up my seniority there. Now it is 17 years already.”
The actress also showed her love for bowling. Park Shin Hye said, “Lee Hong-ki loves bowling very much. We have a close friendship. He has worked hard until he joined the army. I’m not that extended, but when I have time I will contact Lee Hong Ki or friends who like bowling. Or I do it with my family. I learned all the exercise from my dad.”
Lastly the actress said,” Humanimal is indeed a documentary about the coexistence of humans and animals. You can think of it as a serious type of documentary , but it’s not that heavy. It could be a story on the other part of the globe but it is a human documentary that can spread the awareness and change of the small perception of our surroundings. I hope a lot of people who watched it will sympathize with me,” she said, adding, “Please look forward to it.”
