- Her father is Jayclaw
- She seems to receive visions prior to becoming a medicine cat apprentice
- Her mother is very protective of her and greatly believes in her importance to the clan
- Mistystar begins to “show her age” and Frostpaw wonders have many lives she has left
- Once she goes to the Moonpool as is amongst other medicine cats she loses her apprehension about her role and begins to take pride in it
- The fate of all the clans may rest on her
