Thanks to tireless research by a team of scientists, we now know Avengers: Infinity War (2018) was a work of fiction.

Obviously this is very funny and clickbait-y but I feel like I need to come to the defense of the scientists because I read their paper and I worked with them directly to create a comic based on their research. The paper was mostly about how latch friction works (demonstrated with snapping fingers) which actually does have practical applications for prothesis designs and soft bodied robots. Their lab does a lot of fascinating, curiosity driven biophysics work.  Anyway, if you’re interested in learning more, here is the comic!
