how it started: okay i’m resigned to writing OFMD fic instead of working on one of my WIPs, I’ll just knock out something short and kink focussed with just izzy and ed, 3,000 words max

how it continued: okay, well I guess this is going to be stede pov poly negotiation fic, that’s a totally normal place to end up from where i started, but whatever, at least it’ll be short

how it’s going: i’m 6000 words in, 0 actual poly negotiation has happened yet, but I did just write lucius giving a passionate speech about the importance of queer as an umbrella identity, so that’s… wait what was I supposed to be writing again?
