Damn it I can’t find the post I made about that so I’ll just do another one: happy pride to all my mixed race fam, your queerness doesn’t negate your cultural heritages, your queerness doesn’t make you any less of your heritage, you’re allowed to look for the queer history of all your cultures, you’re allowed to be you without proving anything to anyone, you’re allowed to stay in the closet with one side of your family but not the other, you’re allowed to have complex feelings about the intersection of your queerness and your mixed-raceness. I love you and I’m proud of you.
