To all those creators out there, be your field writing, crafts, music, drawing, or art of any other type!:
You are AMAZING.
You are the ONLY person capable of making what you’ve created! No one else could create the exact same thing you did, the exact same way, unless you were to guide them. And even then: each detail, brushstroke, punctuation mark, or fingerprint on your creation is yours alone.
You brought that creation forth from something that did not at all resemble the finished product. A blank page, coloured strands, an empty canvas, tubes of paint or a box of coloured markers or pencils, and all sorts more. No one else could do it the way you did.
“But no art is completely original,” you may say. A single musical note may not be, but combine a number of them into a song–into what order? What volume are they? How do you transition between them? Are there lyrics, other instruments, background noise, a certain reverberation? Even the same song, played by different people or in different places, is always unique, each and every performance.
Each performance is enjoyed by different people. Perhaps mainly by the creator–but that makes it worth it, still.
So remember just how amazing it is to create something. Remember you are a creator, and a WONDERFUL one, at that!❤
