It’s fun and all to listen to Ghost on shuffle on Spotify but it’s even more fun to listen to the albums in the correct order because Tobias Forge is such a genius. And his talent just continues to grow with every album.
Not only did I just listen to Prequelle but I decided to throw on Impera too. This was only my second time listening to it all in order, and I will forever love how “Respite on the Spitalfields” ends with the melody of “Imperium.”
I can’t think of anyone who does a better job with song order on albums or with making them feel so complete and cohesive.
