@allsortsoflicorice We are in a really horrible situation right now, not in terms of immediate harm or violence but a gradual shift to fascism.

Marcos Jr. won the elections using troll farms for propaganda, not to mention all the election commission members are appointees by Duterte, whose daughter ran for VP. He’s also backed by several political dynasties that suppressed opposition voices.

Academics, universities, journalists and activists are getting threatened by redtagging or currently being red tagged. There were also voter suppression via police/military that happened in provinces against progressive candidates.

One of the most important online libraries are closed down and the new elected government plans to rewrite history books to deny past crimes of the Marcos family. Our history is getting erased or modified to suit the current administration !

That rant got long but we are really at lost on what to do.
