Finished editing part one of the new second chapter, nothing major just some things to improve the flow and make the larger additions of chapter one make sense with what I’d already written, added some pertinent words and deleted a lot more superfluous ones

yet somehow

SOMEHOW

this chapter has even more words than I started with (6900)

after I cut the unwieldy original first chapter (6500) in two. -_-

Now i have an unwieldy second chapter and I can’t easily cut thisone in two because a) that won’t work with the tension and b) the inciting incident is already taking its own sweet time
