Publishing more of my OCs, and here is my newest one Humina for a tarot card series my friends and I created!

Stage name: Humina Hohde (Translated: Hymning Shine)

Real name: Teresa Ruusuvaara (Translated: Teresa Rosehill/Rosedanger)

Age: 26

Body shape: Looks fragile and slim, but is very muscular and sinewy.

Gender identity: Trans-woman

Sexual identity: Bisexual

Relationship status: Is too occupied with her career to think about relationships. Doesn’t believe to be able handle a relationship nor the drama related to it with her popularity currently.

Horoscope: Capricorn sun, Cancer moon, Rising Gemini

Education: Has attended upper secondary school and afterward tried to get in theater school, but didn’t make it. She began to perform in public where she became famous and rose to an independent entrepreneur and soon got a sponsor, growing her fame even more.

Hobbies: A classic case of a person turning their hobby into their career. The said hobby in her case is dancing and singing. Her dance style has been inspired by the Asian idol culture, where singers dance in beat with the song. Her moves are not complicated enough to make you out off breath, but require a lot of practice and concentration. Because she hasn’t got a crew of other singers and dancers, her flaws in the steps are much more noticeable which is why she practices during her free time instead of getting teammates or background dancers.

Family: She has two little sisters and a mother. Her grandmother’s middle name was Teresa. Humina was very close with her grandmother, who let her try on her jewelry, perfumes and old clothes. Her grandmother knew early on Humina wasn’t a boy and remained very supportive encouraging Humina to just be herself. When she died when Humina was 16, she took her second name as her own name out of respect she felt for her. Many of Humina’s ’’love songs’’ are actually dedicated to her grandmother.

Personality: Humina could be described as a workaholic and the way she acts is secondary to that. She drinks coffee at an alarming rate to stay energetic, even to the point she has to force herself to do so. She is very strict with herself and wants to present herself as favorably as possible. She smiles more than plenty and is very expressive when emoting. In work mode she doesn’t let anyone to come near her physically or mentally. On holidays or during free time she has a tendency to judge people on first impressions and keep holding on to that impression until proven otherwise.

Her sense of humor is biting, but not out of ill will. She projects her own experiences of being abandoned to others, and if she sees someone alone or to be down, she will go talk to them. She is extroverted, but doesn’t like formal gatherings, or other celebrities and their gossip. She would rather be in a pub, where everyone would have taken a few drinks to relax and talk about anything that comes to mind. Like ex-partners or how they nearly tripped while ascending stairs. Which is ironic, considering she doesn’t care to open up in such situations herself.

Her bad qualities would be that she is unforgiving, and is a little bit of a diva. As she has gotten far from singing and dancing in the streets, she wants her performances to be up to her standards. She doesn’t like to be bound artistically and doesn’t take criticism related to her performances nor the way she dresses, even if it would be completely harmless suggestion or advice. Yet instead she likes to be the one to give advice. When getting to know someone, she tends to think their relationship is closer than the current one they actually have.

Past: Humina has been very independent from a very young age. Was the leader of her class during her school years and commonly used her natural charisma to manipulate others. But her charisma wasn’t enough to make it to theater school, and that is when she realized people around her didn’t care for her, but her public image. She was left alone, when she failed to achieve something for the first time in her life.

Yet she didn’t yield, and started from scratch as a street performer.

Humina has been dancing and singing since she was little. She wanted to be an actor, but only knew about the career on a surface level. After failing to get into the actor school she did research and realized she didn’t want to be an actor. She doesn’t want to obey anyone’s orders.

Appearance: Humina takes great care of her appearance as a performer. When she is alone she doesn’t wear make-up or appealing clothes. She still feels gender dysphoria related to her arms and thus always wears something to hide them in public, even if only see-through fabric. When inside her own home, she is trying to get rid of it by painting her nails and using short sleeves. Her unease has elevated somewhat, but still fears to hear others confirm her past insecurities by commenting as she is publicly known to be trans.

Otherwise Humina is dressed very classically mixed with modern style. Her stage outfits and what she wears publicly are pretty but lightweight and easy to move in. Doesn’t use dresses or skirts when performing, the closest she dresses are tunics and shorts.

Humina has made pearl- or in this case marble necklaces in fashion in honor of her grandmother.
