In true honesty, I support the riots.

If MY son was taken down in such a violent, hateful, and unnecessary way I would absolutely 100% burn Seattle to the ground and I’d bring every person I’ve known since highschool with me.

And I’ve been saying that since the day he was born.

I’m lucky in the fact that my son is a white male and the chances of that are slim to none, and I recognize the privilege in that.

I cannot even imagine what it is like for POC to watch it happen day in and day out and live in fear for themselves and their children. A black young man was executed for jogging and then not even weeks later a man was choked to death by someone who is suppose to protect us. Suffocation is the most horrific way I can think of to die.

They wanna protest? Good. They wanna loot? Good. They wanna burn a police station down? My full fuckin support.

In the “Greatest nation on earth”, in a free country, in a First World Nation, no one should have to feel that kind of fear and anguish and helplessness.

And then to have a president who absolutely disregards that fear and tweets to the world that “when the looting starts the shooting starts” is beyond reprehensible. It furthers the belief that no one on any level of government respects their right to live, and attacks them when they begin their protests peacefully.

Fuck White Nationalism.

Fuck the authoritarian government.

Fuck the police.

Fucking unfollow me, there’s only 6,000 of you, and I don’t need any Blue Lives Matter bullshit on my dash.
