It’s no mystery that Iggy Azalea is clueless about American race relations. She has no idea that she is heinously appropriating a culture not her own. You see, Iggy doesn’t understand race relations in her own country.
Her cooptation of the language is actually just a mockery of an amalgamation of distinct regional dictions that she’s picked up from various rappers over the years - it’s like she’s made a monolithic “Black voice” that is not grounded in community, experience, or history - just in her imagination of “Blackness”.
Here she is trying to sound sensitive and coming off as tone deaf and ignorant:

That being said. Many still deny the ^. Many still believe in the mythology that serves White Supremacy. Many do not recognize that what is built, is built on stolen land, on stolen lives, on stolen culture.
