I was drawn to this book in the craft store because the “anime” style wasn’t so “anime” but then I was deeply shocked by the diversity of characters they taught you how to draw???? this is a tiny sampling but oh my god

are you telling me theres a how to draw anime book that acutally looks decent what the fuck

I shit you not, this is the best manga drawing book series on the market. One, its realistic enough that you can learn the basics of real anatomy. Two, it teaches you how to draw a huge variety of clothing on different body types. Three, and most importantly, its extremely diverse when it comes to races and body types. It shows how to draw a multitude of body shapes and sizes and even how to draw different natural hair styles. I highly recommend all three books in this series.

ok i have the book OP does and omg its got a LOT of food references and tutorials and it shows you all kinds of nice fucking ways to draw hair textures and clothing and

it’s just a really good book ok and i want to get the others!
