→ ( * nayoung begins the tape with a small bow at the camera, straightening up with her face blank and her hands folded in her lap ) ‟ hello, i’m im nayoung. i graduated from sopa last year, and am currently studying chemical engineering at yonsei university. i’m nineteen years old, and i’ve been studying ballet since i was little. ” ( * she pauses for a second, tilting her head slightly to the side as her eyebrows furrow, the only signs that she’s considering what to say next ) ‟ i’ve been learning new styles of dance, and i hope to show them to you soon. ” ( * she bows again, deciding that that’s enough of an introduction. they don’t need to hear her whole life story, after all. )

→ ( * one eyebrow rises at the question, but that’s the only sign she shows of the incredulous thoughts in her head. it’s a rather personal question, isn’t it? or at least, for her it feels like it. she stares into the camera for another second or two, her expression still blank as she thinks, before she smiles slightly as she comes up with an answer ) ‟ i want to do something with my life. ” ( * she says simply, one hand brushing a lock of long brown hair out of her eyes ) ‟ i’m studying engineering at university, but i don’t want to let go of performing quite yet. after all, that’s why i’m here, right? i want to do something beyond just helping out at my parents’ restaurant, whether that’s in performance or in science. ”
