#injury update

LIVE

It has been revealed that Sergio Ramos actually has a torn hamstring and instead of the initial report of three weeks, he will actually be out for a month and a half (5-6 weeks). He will miss six Liga matches (Atletico, Depor, Elche, Villarreal, Athletic, Levante) and both UCL matches against Schalke). It’s possible that he could return in time for the Clasico but that’s doubtful at the moment. But until then… Animo Sergio!

mgefredux:

Ramos (thigh) and James (foot) were taken off in the first half for injuries. Statuses are currently unknown, but more news will be available after the match.

Update #1 - Both ruled out for Atleti (Feb 7), at minimum

Update #2 - James (2 months); Ramos (3 weeks)

Matthew damn near gave me a heart attack but then posted this:

goondula:

“We’re happy to inform you that we came to the conclusion that Zadorov merely committed a ‘whoopsie-daisy’. You see, he’s really really tall and what do you expect him to do, not hit a guy when head contact is unavoidable? Ok snowflake, cry Therefore Glendening is just gonna have to suck it up. Ok bye :)”
