The erasure of mixed-race characters in fandom is A Problem. As a multiracial person, it sucks to see this. Mixed race people barely get any representation in official media; fandom almost completely erases us.
I just wish fandom would be a bit more nuanced about multiracial characters.
Yes thank you. Being half Black and half Ashkenazi Jewish, I’m sick of fandom dismissing or erasing mixed race people. And I’m sorry to say it but Batman fandom, I’m looking at you.
