#its gonna be a really fun time

TMA Mspec Week is a fan event designed to inspire creation of fanworks (fanfiction, art, edits, meta, podfic, etc.) focused on portraying characters of bi, pan, poly, omni, or any other multi-spec identities. i.e. identities that include attraction to more than one gender. That includes canon mspec characters or your personal headcanons!

The event takes place from January 25th until February 1st, 2021

EVENT RULES:

▪ Any kind of fanwork is acceptable for this event (art, fanfiction, poetry, meta, edits, playlists, moodboards, etc.)

▪ We’ll be using the tag “#tma mspec week” on Tumblr, “#MspecWeekTMA” on Twitter and making a TMA_Mspec_Week_2021 collection on AO3

▪ The works for this event should be at least in some way related to the exploration, celebration, or the topic of mspec attraction in one or more Magnus Archives character(s), however you personally interpret it

▪ We deeply encourage intersectionality, so mspec identities absolutely can be explored and celebrated alongside other identities

▪ We highly encourage both the celebration of canon mspec characters like Jon, Tim, and Georgie, and the celebration of your headcanons for any of the other characters.

▪ The event allows both SFW and NSFW content. Please always tag NSFW content, and responsibly tag any possible content warnings. Only submit NSFW content if you’re over 18

▪ We stand against any instances of bi/pan/poly/omni and any other-phobias and identity or terminology policing (as well as any other types of LGBTQIA+ phobias)

▪ All ships, characters, and themes are welcome, as we also stand against fan content policing 

▪ We will be suggesting three kinds of prompts for each day: 

○ A generic prompt

○ An Mspec-identity related prompt 

○ A character prompt with a selection of three characters 

▪ Do not feel bound by the prompts, they’re there only for your inspiration. You can use one, two, all three, or none of the prompts for each day. Character selection is also there only as an inspiration, and you can use one, two, three, or none of the suggested characters

▪ The last day of the event is dedicated to any works that have been posted in the past, that fit the theme and that you may want to bring into the spotlight again. You will be able to add them to the AO3 collection or repost them with the event tag on that final day.
