i think bringing back Pearl being assistant in trial is a fun idea, like reminiscing how it was back then when Phoenix was a rookie and also see how much growth Pearl has been through as she doesn’t need to channel Mia anymore.
perhaps she can replace Maya’s role, since Maya’s busy leading the village and all.
