#ive been writing on and off for two decades
I have over a thousand fics on AO3 and I’ve been posting fic for a decade and change now, but sometimes it’s stilleverything I can do not to panic-delete 325k of work just because I’m afraid people might not like it.
New writers starting out, take note: the anxiety never goes away, and it’s just something you deal with. Friends who say nice things and/or yell at you to keep you from nuking your AO3 profile from orbit are the only remedies.
