The morning commute was the same as always. The subway you took to work was about a 15 minute ride, plenty of time to be able to sit back and listen to a few songs, clearing your head before you start your day.
The lobby was as busy as ever with people flying in all different directions, trying to get a good start on their day. You make a beeline to the coffee shop. The line wasn’t too bad and you were really craving caffeine this morning.
Kuroo had called you at 8pm last night, letting you know that he forgot to pick up his dry-cleaning, which you had asked him about 3 different times during the day if he needed you to grab it before you left. He had said he would handle it and yet, here you were, outside the entrance doors to his penthouse.
