#i’m ranting in the tags

i’ll be honest, it’s just now clicking in my mind that like in big lore moments the only people role playing are the people who are currently on stream.

so like, wednesday’s stream? there was a big ole chunk of time where tommy and tubbo were off fighting dream while the entire rest of the server was just like, chilling and waiting to meet them at the bunker thing dream had.

they weren’t prolly (like, 99.9999%) weren’t like, role playing while tommy and tubbo were fighting dream. so now i’m just picturing them all getting in a vc and punz being like “lol btw everyone stay on, we’ve gotta wait like an hour and then we all walk through the portal dramatically”.

or, yanno, since they had to know to get on anyway, someone sending a message a day or two or whatever earlier like “btw, if you’re free on wednesday, we’re gonna do a big server thing where you’re all sad at tommy and tubbo and then like, don’t tell tommy or tubbo, but we’re gonna help them at the end”

ranboo had mentioned something in a stream about how he was considering pearling through the portal but then decided not to, so now i’m just like, picturing that giant horde of people just chillin in the nether before headed in. it would be a fuckin mess if one of them fell into the lava and died, or if they accidentally came into the portal early, or aggro’d a pigslin horde, or whatever

tldr i’ve been thinking about behind the scenes dsmp for the past like hour and now i wanna know the stories behind the big lore moments for the people who weren’t involved. i kinda can’t wait for a while after the dsmp ends and the cc’s start telling the stories from behind the lore. i just!!!! wanna know!!!!!
