@oroya​ commissioned me an illustration of the Jaime/Cersei sept sex scene from Jaime VII in A Storm Of Swords! I fretted for a while about which color grading I liked best and eventually decided to keep them both because my brain is already handling too many decisions right now.

Stray observations from revisiting this scene:

• Cersei is wearing the same mourning dress she put on for Robert’s funeral, aka the “Rhaegar dress”
• George really wrote “One hand slid up her thigh and underneath her smallclothes“, like…one hand? As if Jaime could choose?

Help me. Save me.

This started out as a random kiss practice. Obviously, Jaime and Cersei took over, because, when do they not?

Not that I mind. It took just a few minutes once it evolved into the golden twins instead of random nameless characters. Wonder why. I love this, anyway, so expect a final version soon enough.

Also I keep switching between NCW’s straigther hair and the book version’s wavier one because I read the books first but I can’t imagine anyone playing Jaime but NCW, and I’d really like to be able to stick to one hairstyle one day.

Jaime and Cersei’s reunion was so short, but it was the most emotional scene of the finale for me. Thank you Lena Headey and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for being such amazing actors. Season 4 and its twincest sexy times can’t come soon enough. ♥
