A cold winters date with James in Hogsmeade

“I really want to kiss you.”

James’ admission takes you by surprise, your cheeks warming under his gaze despite the frigid temperature of the day. You tuck a piece of stray hair behind your ear and duck your head, mumbling out your reply.

“Oh um.. that - that would be o - okay with me.”

James smiles and pulls you away from the main stretch of road, into a small alcove with a staircase. You lean back against the wall, heart in your throat as his arms circle around you.

“Ready?”

It’s only your first date but James had been wanting to kiss you the whole time, he was completely entranced by you and everything you said. When you nodded to his question he smiled, his usual confidence returning as your lips met in a soft, tender first kiss…
