The Epiphone Les Paul Custom Elitist outmatches MOST Gibson Les Pauls that have been manufactured in the last 20 years. It even outmatches the 10-12 pounder Les Pauls from the mid 70’s through the 80’s. At a FRACTION of the price too! The pickups are fkn NICE, the fretboard is great, it doesn’t weight a sh*t ton and it sounds and plays phenomenally! I’ve only found a few Gibson Les Pauls that match it. New, the Epiphone Elitist ran about $750-850, where as a standard Gibson Les Paul costs around upwards of $1,500.
